The new cordless standards require all window treatments to be designed and manufactured without cords that pose a risk to children. This means that traditional corded blinds, shades, and curtains will be replaced with cordless alternatives. These new regulations aim to eliminate the risk of strangulation or entanglement associated with corded window coverings.
